The Nevada State Genealogical Society (NSGS) fosters and promotes interest in genealogy. Members of the Society share ideas, information, and methods on searching for data about ancestors from Nevada, the United States, and around the World. 

NSGS meets monthly on the third Thursday at 7:00 pm.
September through May 

Meetings Location:  
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints 
Reno Family History Center
4751 Neil Road, Reno
Located at the NW corner of Neil Rd. and Filbert Rd. (Entrance is off of Filbert.)

Programs at the monthly meetings explore a variety of subjects pertaining to genealogical research and promote the importance of preserving family history, documents, and photographs. 

Guests are welcome! The Reno Family History Center has kindly allowed us to use their facilities for our meetings. The only qualification to attend our meetings is an interest in researching family history!
