Subject: Documentary with John Livermore and prospector friends Oct 18 at Gold Hill Hotel

Greetings,

I hope this occasional e-mail invitation finds you well. I wanted to forward along a flyer from the Gold Hill Hotel. On Tuesday night, Oct. 18, the hotel is screening the documentary we produced on prospecting in Nevada (If you haven't been to this historic hotel, you're in for a treat.) The film follows long-time geologist John Livermore and several other prospectors as they tramp the hills looking for valuable ore. We'll screen the film and hear from veteran geologist Andy Wallace. And John plans to be there too, so it's a good opportunity to meet him. The Gold Hill has a lecture-dinner combination and is a unique place to spend an evening.

Hope to see you on Tuesday, Oct. 18 at the Gold Hill Hotel on the Comstock. (flyer attached)

Other upcoming showings of include the following (all at NV Historical Society at UNR at noon on Wednesdays)
Day of the Dead on Oct. 26
Sarah Winnemucca: In her Footprints on Nov. 23
Gathering the Cowboy Arts on Dec. 28.

Regards,

Gwen Clancy (775.813.1350)
